module_arp #

Purpose #

  • Send replies in response to ARP Requests for self-represented IPv4 addresses
  • Send replies to IPv6 Neighbour Discovery requests for self-represented IPv6 addresses
  • process replies to sent requests and update the ARP/ND6 resolver skiplist

  • show resolver

    displays the ARP/ND6 resolver skiplist (show arp and show nd6 are valid synonyms).

The following parameters control the ARP/ND6 request sending behaviour (where module_arp processes the resulting replies only):
